Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has announced the strategic establishment of a Haryana-European Union (EU) Working Group to significantly boost the state’s global trade presence. This initiative, highlighted by Daily Samvad, aims to capitalize on the India-EU Free Trade Agreement, offering local MSMEs and artisans zero-tariff access to 27 European nations. By fostering collaboration in sectors like automobiles, renewable energy, and pharmaceuticals, the working group will facilitate high-end technology transfer and attract major foreign investment. This move is a cornerstone of the "Viksit Haryana" vision, targeting a $1 trillion economy by 2047.
